In October 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Andrew Roybal by a customer of Unionbanc Investment Services alleging that Mr. Roybal failed to follow instructions to invest assets into a managed account, resulting in monetary loss. Per the customer, he/she lost over $21,887.48 because of Mr. Roybal’s actions. On November 20, 2020, Mr. Roybal settled the claim for $21,887, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Roybal’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In October 2012, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Andrew Roybal by a customer of Unionbanc Investment Services alleging unsuitable and misrepresented product. Per the customer, he/she lost over $78,000 because of Mr. Roybal’s actions.

In April 2007, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Andrew Roybal by multiple customers of Unionbanc Investment Services alleging Hartford VUL product was misrepresented and lacked disclosure. Per the customer, he/she lost over $24,740 because of Mr. Roybal’s actions.

In January 2001, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Andrew Roybal by a customer of UBOC Investment Services, Inc. alleging that Mr. Roybal failed to disclose the risk of loss of principal in a mutual fund. Per the customer, he/she lost over $11,000 because of Mr. Roybal’s actions. On August 9, 2001, Mr. Roybal settled the claim for $6,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Roybal’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
