In January 2020, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Daniel Pimental by a customer of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. and Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC alleging churning, unsuitability, unauthorized trading, negligent supervision, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, material misrepresentations and omissions, fraud, breach of contract, violations of federal securities laws by unsuitable and unauthorized trading, and making materially false statements; violations of state Blue Sky Laws and Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 93A; and violations of FINRA, NYSE, NASD and SEC regulations. An arbitration panel found that Daniel Pimental was negligent and awarded $67,917 in favor of the customers.
In May 2008, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Daniel Pimental by a customer of Goldman, Sachs & Co. alleging that investments made in the client’s account were inconsistent with stated investment objectives. On October 13, 2008, Mr. Pimental settled the claim for $14,138, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Pimental’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In March 2002, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Daniel Pimental by a customer J.P.
