Per the customer, he/she lost over $350,000 because of Mr. Melikidse’s actions. On June 22, 2022, Mr. Melikidse settled the claim for $75,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Melikidse’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In January 2005, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Andrew Melikidse by a customer of WM Financial Services, Inc. alleging that the investment product recommended by Mr. Melikidse was unsuitable due to the client’s need for liquidity. The investment was purchased January 30, 2004. Per the customer, he/she lost over $9,987.16 because of Mr. Melikidse’s actions. On May 4, 2005, Mr. Melikidse settled the claim for $9,271.99, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Melikidse’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
