In December 2019, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Andrew Vitek by a customer of Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC alleging that beginning in or about 2015, Mr. Vitek replaced claimant’s existing investments with unsuitable securities without her knowledge or consent, including structured products, C-share mutual funds, and speculative stocks. On March 31, 2021, Mr. Vitek settled the claim for $60,100, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Vitek’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In May 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Andrew Vitek by a customer of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC alleging Mr. Vitek recommended securities that were not suitable and charged advisory fees that exceeded the rate on which the client and Mr. Vitek agreed. On July 16, 2019, Mr. Vitek settled the claim for $7,367, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Vitek’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In November 2010, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Andrew Vitek by a customer of Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC alleging Mr. Vitek bought shares of BP without the client’s knowledge or consent.
