In November 2019, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Charles Christiansen by a customer of Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC alleging that from 2009-2015, branch manager failed to supervise Mr. Christiansen who was managing the claimant’s accounts. On August 18, 2020, Mr. Christiansen settled the claim for $1,750,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Christiansen’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In August 2002, a NASD arbitration was filed against or in reference to Charles Christiansen by a customer of Prudential Securities Incorporated alleging failure to supervise financial advisors’ handling of accounts. Per the customer, he/she lost over $185,000 because of Mr. Christiansen’s actions. An arbitration panel found that Charles Christiansen was negligent and awarded $5,000 in favor of the customers.
