In November 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Charles Shields Jr. by a customer of Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC alleging that prior to April 2009, Mr. Shields failed to take reasonable steps to ensure Plaintiff’s identity and authorization when opening a brokerage account.
