In January 2021, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Edward Balmes by a customer of Moloney Securities Co., Inc. alleging unsuitability. Per the customer, he/she lost over $25,000 because of Mr. Balmes’s actions. An arbitration panel found that Edward Balmes was negligent and awarded $1,750 in favor of the customers.
