In September 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Evan Lunsford by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging that Mr. Lunsford made investment recommendations in two structured notes tied to the energy market that were unsuitable for claimant’s investment objectives in July 2018. Per the customer, he/she lost over $5,000 because of Mr. Lunsford’s actions. On May 26, 2021, Mr. Lunsford settled the claim for $55,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Lunsford’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In July 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Evan Lunsford by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging sale of an unsuitable structured note in June 26, 2018 to July 6, 2020.
