In January 2008, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Juan Alejos by a customer of Fordham Financial Management, Inc. alleging that the purchase of 2000 shares of China Development Group was unauthorized. Per the customer, he/she lost over $7,909.60 because of Mr. Alejos’s actions. On January 8, 2008, Mr. Alejos settled the claim for $7,909, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Alejos’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In July 2006, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Juan Alejos by a customer of Fordham Financial Management, Inc. The customer is an experienced, sophisticated, accredited investor who maintained a number of accounts outside of Fordham and two accounts at Fordham, both of which were profitable until the purchases of GNBT, CESV, ERS,and GTE between 1/2006 and 5/2006. All transactions were authorized, consistent with historical transactions, and compliant with stated investment objectives. As securities lost value, the customer alleges concerns about “timing of call and the nature of the investment proposals” and states that he felt “pressure” and now seeks “compensation for four particular transactions”. Per the customer, he/she lost over $87,443 because of Mr. Alejos’s actions.

In January 2005, Illinois initiated a regulatory event against or in reference to Juan Alejos because his registration as a salesperson in the state of Illinois is allegedly subject to revocation pursuant to section 8.e(1)(j) of the Illinois securities law.

In May 2004, NASD initiated a regulatory event against or in reference to Juan Alejos for soliciting a public customer to purchase a security and during the solicitation misrepresented material facts and made baseless price projections and failed to mention that he wasn’t registered to sell securities in Utah.
