The complainant alleges he will need to forfeit about $7000 to surrender the policy, and believes that due to his age, he never should have been sold this annuity. Per the customer, he/she lost over $7,000 because of Mr. Pappas’s actions.

In April 2000, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Julius Pappas by a customer of Prudential Securities Incorporated alleging that Mr. Pappas continued to make transactions without her consent substantial losses in her account. client alleges that her financial advisor’s negligence created a loss of $15,735.00. Per the customer, she lost over $15,735 because of Mr. Pappas’s actions. On November 24, 2000, Mr. Pappas settled the claim for $2,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Pappas’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
