Per the customers, they lost over $1,000,000 because of Mr. Fisher’s actions. As of this publication date, this claim remains pending.
In September 2018, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Michael Fisher by a customer of Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC alleging breach of fiduciary duty, suitability, failure to supervise, and negligence. The causes of action relate to Preferred/Fixed Rate Cap Securities. Per the customer, he/she lost over $50,000 because of Mr. Fisher’s actions. An arbitration panel found that Michael Fisher was negligent and awarded $50,600 in favor of the customers.
In September 2017, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Michael Fisher by a customer of Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC alleging that from February 2013 through November 2016, Mr. Fisher made unsuitable investments.
