In August 2022, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Michael Volini by a customer of Santander Securities alleging fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, breach of contract and alleges damages of $50,000, and also seeks pre-judgment and post-judgment interest for client’s loss of use of his capital, costs, and fees. Per the customer, he/she lost over $50,000 because of Mr. Volini ’s actions. On January 25, 2023, Mr. Volini settled the claim for $4,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Volini ’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In January 2017, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Michael Volini by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging that the client was not advised of surrender charge for annuity and sought return of funds with no surrender charge. Per the customer, he/she lost over $7,000 because of Mr. Volini ’s actions.
