In September 2021, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Nicholas Travascio III by multiple customers of LPL Financial LLC alleging that the investments at issue were unsuitable. Per the customers, they lost over $48,461 because of Mr. Travascio III’s actions.
In December 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Nicholas Travascio III by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging that Mr. Travascio III recommended that the claimant’s uncle invest in a REIT in 2/2020 to 12/2020 which was unsuitable for his investment portfolio and ultimately caused damages to claimant as the beneficiary of his late uncle’s account. Per the customer, he lost over $90,000 because of Mr. Travascio III’s actions.
In November 2020, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Nicholas Travascio III by multiple customers of LPL Financial LLC alleging that Mr. Travascio III recommended that they invest in several REITs which were unsuitable for their investment portfolio. Clients also allege that their account was overly concentrated in at least four REITs and not appropriately diversified. Per the customers, they lost over $150,000 because of Mr. Travascio III’s actions. On July 15, 2021, Mr. Travascio III settled the claim for $14,999, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Travascio III’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In October 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Nicholas Travascio III by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging that Mr. Travascio III recommended an unsuitable REIT to the client who alleges losses in connection with the investment. Per the customer, he/she lost over $19,500 because of Mr. Travascio III’s actions.
