In April 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Patricia Gleason by a customer of Cetera Advisors LLC alleging unsuitable investments, excessive commissions, mismanagement, and churning. On October 8, 2019, Ms. Gleason settled the claim for $25,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Gleason’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In April 2006, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Patricia Gleason by a customer of AXA Advisors alleging that rolling over the client’s 401 k into a 2005 IRA brokerage account and then utilizing some of the funds to repay other debts was not suitable advice.
