On October 21, 2022, Mr. Rhee settled the claim for $23,750, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Rhee’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In May 2022, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Peter Rhee by a customer of Investment Planners Inc. alleging that Mr. Rhee recommended unsuitable investments. The client further alleges causes of action of suitability, breach of contract, misrepresentation, failure to supervise, and breach of contract. Per the customer, he/she lost over $300,000 because of Mr. Rhee’s actions. Per the customer, he/she lost over $420,887 because of Mr. Rhee’s actions.
