In November 2023, FINRA initiated a regulatory action against or in reference to Robert Silvestri for refusing to appear for on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA in connection to its investigation into whether he borrowed funds from a customer.

In July 2023, Aegis Capital Corp. terminated Robert Silvestri after receiving an alert that Mr. Silvestri’s license had been amended by his prior broker-dealer to reflect that he had borrowed money from a client that he serviced at both his prior broker-dealer and who was a current client. At or around the same time, the Firm received a phone call from the customer who advised the Firm that she had loaned Mr. Silvestri money while he was registered with his prior firm as well as when he was registered with the Firm.

In November 2022, Level Four Financial, LLC terminated Robert Silvestri for failing to follow the firm’s stated policies and procedures relating to disclosure information.

In November 2022, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Robert Silvestri by a customer of Level Four Financial, LLC alleging unsuitable recommendations in her fee-based account since account inception (February 2020) to present which resulted in losses in her account. Customer additionally alleges that the representative wrote personal checks to cover some of the losses in her account. Per the customer, he/she lost over $9,500 because of Mr. Silvestri’s actions. On January 9, 2023, Mr. Silvestri settled the claim for $8,000.

In May 2002, a NASD was filed against or in reference to Robert Silvestri by a customer of UBS/Painnewebber, Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. alleging unsuitability, misrepresentations and omissions, and breach of fiduciary duty. An arbitration panel found that Robert Silvestri was negligent and awarded $20,000 in favor of the customers.
