In January 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Scott Barber by a customer of Investacorp, Inc. alleging misrepresentation concerning features of a variable annuity purchased in 2018. Per the customer, he/she lost over $21,000 because of Mr. Barber’s actions. On April 5, 2019, Mr. Barber settled the claim for $9,000.
