In April 2021, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Ted Boutis by multiple customers of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that Mr. Boutis recommended unsuitable investments in C-share mutual funds, variable annuities and the use of margin. On June 16, 2022, Mr. Boutis settled the claim for $125,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Boutis’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In April 2021, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Ted Boutis by multiple customers of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that Mr. Boutis recommended unsuitable investments in C-share mutual funds, variable annuities and the use of margin.
