Per the customer, he/she lost $1,000,000 due to Ms. Seltzer’s actions. On December 23, 2021, Ms. Seltzer settled the claim for $75,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Seltzer’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In August 2020, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Amy Seltzer by a customers of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. alleging that Ms. Seltzer significantly exposed clients to large concentrated positions in illiquid investments without fair and balanced disclosures. Per the customers, they lost over $350,000 due to Ms. Seltzer’s actions.
