In August 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Angel Bardeche by a customer of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that Ms. Bardeche did not explain there was a surrender charge associated with the variable annuity purchased in 2013. Per the customer, she lost over $8,000 because of Ms. Bardeche’s actions. On October 4, 2019, Ms. Bardeche settled the claim for $122,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Bardeche’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In August 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Angel Bardeche by a customer of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that Ms. Bardeche did not disclose the surrender charge or annual fees associated with the variable annuity purchased in 2015. Per the customer, she lost over $9,993.05 because of Ms. Bardeche’s actions. On October 14, 2019, Ms. Bardeche settled the claim for $51,545.16, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Bardeche’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In May 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Angel Bardeche by a customer of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that Ms. Bardeche did not disclose that the variable annuity purchased in 2014 had a 10-year surrender period and associated surrender charges. Per the customer, she lost over $14,455 because of Ms. Bardeche’s actions. On September 24, 2019, Ms. Bardeche settled the claim for $138,277.65, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Bardeche’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In April 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Angel Bardeche by multiple customers of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that Ms. Bardeche did not disclose the front-end sales charges associated with recommended mutual fund purchases. Per the customer, she lost over $108,874.80 because of Ms. Bardeche’s actions. On September 20, 2019, Ms. Bardeche settled the claim for $68,500, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Bardeche’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In April 2019, FINRA, Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC terminated Angel Bardeche for company policy violations related to failing to obtain authorization from clients prior to placing trades and mutual fund trading activity.
