In August 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Bret Hartman by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging misrepresentation and unsuitability of structured product investment. Per the customer, he/she lost over $6,000 because of Mr. Hartman’s actions. On October 12, 2020, Mr. Hartman settled the claim for $5,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Hartman’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In June 2020, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Bret Hartman by multiple customers of LPL Financial LLC alleging that an income-producing investment in a structured note was unsuitable after they surrendered the note and incurred losses in April 25, 2019 to April 30, 2020. On August 17, 2020, Mr. Hartman settled the claim for $5,500, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Hartman’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In May 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Bret Hartman by multiple customers of LPL Financial LLC alleging misrepresentation of unsuitable structured notes. Per the customers, they lost over $50,000 because of Mr. Hartman’s actions.On June 16, 2020, Mr. Hartman settled the claim for $6,498.50.
