In July 2020, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Kevin Fretz by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging that in November 2012 and December 2014, Mr. Fretz made unsuitable investment recommendations in multiple non-traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and continuously misrepresented the REITs’ death put options. On June 22, 2021, Mr. Fretz settled the claim for $55,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Fretz’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In April 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Kevin Fretz by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging misrepresentation and unsuitability of a structured note. Per the customer, he/she lost over $94,657.50 because of Mr. Fretz’s actions. On July 17, 2020, Mr. Fretz settled the claim for $77,708.25, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Fretz’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In March 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Kevin Fretz by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging misrepresentation and unsuitability. Per the customer, he/she lost over $66,000 because of Mr. Fretz’s actions. On July 7, 2020, Mr. Fretz settled the claim for $28,194.59, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Fretz’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In September 2019, LPL Financial LLC terminated Kevin Fretz for maintaining blank customer signed forms, failing to report customer complaints, and failing to follow customer instructions to deposit funds for investments.

In August 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Kevin Fretz by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging forgery, and misrepresentation of investment recommendations. On February 27, 2020, Mr. Fretz settled the claim for $49,343.91, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Fretz’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In April 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Kevin Fretz by a customer of LPL Financial LLC alleging that Mr. Fretz failed to follow instructions to invest funds. On March 6, 2020, Mr. Fretz settled the claim for $15,255.65, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Fretz’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In April 2009, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Kevin Fretz by multiple customers of Uvest Financial Services Group, Inc. alleging Mr. Fretz did not act on their instructions in processing a death claim of a Variable Annuity in May 2008 and as a result suffered losses. Per the customers, they lost over $5,000 because of Mr. Fretz’s actions.
