In July 2020, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Eric Johnson by a customer of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. alleging unsuitable investments. Per the customer, he/she lost over $150,000 because of Mr. Johnson’s actions.
In October 2011, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Eric Johnson by a customer of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. alleging unsuitable investments, overconcentration, breach of fiduciary duty, negligent failure to supervise, and negligence. Per the customer, he/she lost over $200,000 because of Mr. Johnson’s actions. On October 18, 2012, Mr. Johnson settled the claim for $25,000.
In June 2002, a NASD arbitration was filed against or in reference to Eric Johnson by multiple customers of Morgan Stanley DW Inc. alleging that the clients’ account was mismanaged from the time it was opened in late 1999 until it was transferred in June 2001. Per the customers, they lost over $330,000 because of Mr. Johnson’s actions. An arbitration panel found that Eric Johnson was negligent and awarded $260,000 in favor of the customers.
In July 2001, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Eric Johnson by a customer of Morgan Stanley DW Inc. alleging mismanagement of the client’s accounts during the year 2000. Per the customer, she lost over $238,000 because of Mr. Johnson’s actions.
