In August 2019, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Eugene Faierman by multiple customers of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging unsuitable investments and margin, and that they were overly concentrated in oil and energy stocks. Per the customers, they lost over $578,875 because of Mr. Faierman’s actions. On April 29, 2021, Mr. Faierman settled the claim for $182,500, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Faierman’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In July 2017, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Eugene Faierman by a customer of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that the client received poor recommendations from February 2011 through November 2015 regarding equity securities. Per the customer, he/she lost over $150,036.43 because of Mr. Faierman’s actions.

In February 1995, a NASD arbitration was filed against or in reference to Eugene Faierman by a customer of Painewebber Inc. alleging unauthorized trading and suitability. In September 1994, Painewebber, Inc. terminated Eugene Faierman for accepting orders from an unauthorized third party and allegedly accepting various account documents on behalf of the firm bearing the signatures of two co-trustees, one of whom was deceased.

In January 1988, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Eugene Faierman by a customer of Drexel Burnham Lambert alleging that the client was inappropriately induced to trade in S&P index futures which were unsuitable. Due to extraordinary volatility from July 87 thru October 87, he alleges he sustained losses of approximately $430,000. The client also alleges unsuitability as well as misrepresentation. In June 1976, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Eugene Faierman by a customer of Stern, Frank, Meyer, and Fox alleging that the client should have been told of risk. Per the customer, he/she lost over $11,500 because of Mr. Faierman’s actions. On June 1, 1976, Mr. Faierman settled the claim for $11,500, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Faierman’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
