In September 2016, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Gary Demetri by a customer of Spartan Capital Securities, LLC alleging suitability, failure to supervise, breach of fiduciary duty. Per the customer, he/she lost over $116,080 because of Mr. Demetri’s actions. An arbitration panel found that Gary Demetri was negligent and awarded $22,108 in favor of the customers.
In May 1996, Euro-Atlantic Securities Inc. terminated Gary Demetri for allegedly selling stock away.
