Per the customer, he/she lost over $38,721.41 because of Mr. Miller’s actions.
In January 2002, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Jeffrey Miller by multiple customers of American Express Financial Advisors alleging that Mr. Miller did not follow their risk tolerance and recommended they invest in unsuitable investments. The clients also allege that Mr. Miller recommended they invest in multiple fund families to generate additional commission income.
