In April 2013, a NASD arbitration was filed against or in reference to John Horseman by a customer of National Planning Corporation alleging poor recommendation resulting in poor performance and failure to disclose fees and commissions.

In April 2006, a NASD arbitration was filed against or in reference to John Horseman by a customer of PSI  alleging that in 1997, the client purchased variable annuities that declined in value after he moved investments to another brokerage firm. Per the customer, he lost over $300,000 because of Mr. Horseman’s actions. On June 26, 2006, Mr. Horseman settled the claim for $50,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Horseman’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In March 2005, a NASD arbitration was filed against or in reference to John Horseman by a customer of UBS Financial Services Inc. alleging that two variable annuities purchased on or about December 31, 1999 were unsuitable. Per the customer, he/she lost over $100,000 because of Mr. Horseman’s actions. On October 11, 2005, Mr. Horseman settled the claim for $18,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Horseman’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
