In January 2015, FINRA initiated a regulatory action against or in reference to Kerrie Milligan for allegedly effecting trades in a customer’s account on the instructions of the customer’s husband without the customer’s prior written authorization and without receiving prior approval to exercise discretion in the account from her member firm.

In September 2012, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, LLC terminated Kerrie Milligan for processing a wire transfer request by an unauthorized third-party purporting to act on behalf of a client.
