Per the customer, he lost over $3,500,000 because of Mr. Mendenhall’s actions.
In October 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Patrick Mendenhall by a customer of USCA Securities LLC with allegations related to recommendations to purchase and hold a particular security. Per the customer, he/she lost over $1,000,000 because of Mr. Mendenhall’s actions. On August 10, 2020, Mr. Mendenhall settled the claim for $200,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Mendenhall’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In October 2010, a NASD arbitration was filed against or in reference to Patrick Mendenhall by multiple customers of Painewebber Inc. alleging breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, excessive trading, unsuitability, unauthorized trading of their accounts, and failure to supervise.
