On April 2, 2019, Mr. Berg settled the claim for $7,500, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Berg’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In April 2018, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Robert Berg by a customer of Summit Brokerage Services, Inc. alleging unauthorized withdrawal of funds. Per the customer, he/she lost over $19,400 because of Mr. Berg’s actions. An arbitration panel found that Robert Berg was negligent and awarded $16,400 in favor of the customers.
