In December 2023, U.S. Bancorp Investments, Inc. terminated Robert Hoefel for failing to respond timely to a regulator and failing to notify the firm he was contacted by a regulatory body.

In August 2023, Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC terminated Robert Hoefel after disclosing during Firm review that he did not contact a client before authorizing a trade in their account and did not escalate the subsequent customer complaint.

In November 2008, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Robert Hoefel by a customer of Wamu Investments, Inc. alleging that Mr. Hoefel was instructed to liquidate all the client’s mutual funds in April 2007 which the client claims the registered representative did not do.
