In October 2023, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Samuel Julian by a customer of Ausdal Financial Partners, Inc. alleging failure to supervise, unsuitable investments, violation of federal and state securities laws. Per the customer, he/she lost over $85,000 because of Mr. Julian’s actions. As of this publication date, this claim remains pending.

In February 2016, The Scott County State Bank and Kirkland Investors, LLC reported that Mr. Julian had outstanding debt totaling $500,000. The Julian Group signed a forbearance Agreement with Kirkland Investors on 2/22/16. Under the terms of this agreement the mortgaged real estate was subsequently sold at a lender approved action for $198,592. The Julian Group also agreed to pay Kirkland Group, LLC $80,000 in addition to allowing them to retain the proceeds of the sale of the property.

In April  2014, First Colorado National Bank reported that Mr. Julian had outstanding debt totaling $1,500,000. A forbearance agreement was negotiated. Pursuant to the agreement, the hotel, restaurant and a vacant lot were sold and each of the four partners paid $25,000 each and received full releases for all personal guarantees.
