In August 2015, FINRA initiated a regulatory action against or in reference to Steve Marciniak for allegedly executing trades on behalf of customers in non-discretionary managed accounts prior to receiving the customers’ authorization.

In August 2019, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Steve Marciniak by a customer of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC alleging that the provisions of a 2018 variable annuity purchase were misrepresented. The client also alleged fee based managed accounts were opened, and trading activity occurred, without being fully discussed with the client. Per the customer, he/she lost over $20,384.82 because of Mr. Marciniak’s actions.

In October 2011, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Steve Marciniak by a customer of Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC alleging that Mr. Marciniak delayed processing the estate paperwork. The account value declined $30,000.00 during the delay. Per the customer, he/she lost over $30,000 because of Mr. Marciniak’s actions.

In January 2013, Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC terminated Steve Marciniak for not following firm policy relating to timely contacting clients prior to the entry of trades.
