In February 2010, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Teena Milldebrandt by a customer of Thrivent Investment Management Inc. alleging that the two Variable Annuity Universal Life Contracts issued in September 2005 were not suitable as there was no need for additional insurance for either of them. Per the customer, he/she lost over $80,281.44 because of Ms. Milldebrandt’s actions. On March 31, 2010, Ms. Milldebrandt settled the claim for $20,547.25, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Milldebrandt’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In September 2009, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Teena Milldebrandt by a customer of Thrivent Investment Management Inc. alleging Ms. Milldebrandt’s continuous recommendations of moving funds from one annuity to another and purchasing more insurance than needed has resulted in substantial costs, excess tax payments and significant market losses. Two variable annuities issued July 2005, one variable annuity issued Sept. 2006, one variable universal life issued June 2005, one variable immediate annuity issued June 2005, and one fixed immediate annuity issued July 2005. Per the customer, he/she lost over $59,624.19 because of Ms. Milldebrandt’s actions. On September 16, 2010, Ms. Milldebrandt settled the claim for $46,187.45, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Ms. Milldebrandt’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
