In February 2020, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Lauchie Martin by multiple customers of Wells Fargo Clearing Services, LLC alleging that Mr. Martin committed breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty by taking investment and disbursement instructions from one co-trustee only where joint co-trustee authorization was required which benefited the one co-trustee but was detrimental to the remaindermen beneficiaries. On June 25, 2021, Mr. Martin settled the claim for $450,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Martin’s employer and/or insurance carrier.

In May 1999, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Lauchie Martin by a customer of First Union Capital Markets Corp. alleging that Mr. Martin gave poor advice when he told the client not to sell ARS stock. Per the customer, he/she lost over $450,000 because of Mr. Martin’s actions.

In August 1990, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Lauchie Martin by multiple customers of Wachovia Securities, Inc. alleging that Mr. Martin did not execute the customer agreement. Per the customer, he/she lost over $28,083.15 because of Mr. Martin’s actions. March 4, 1991, Mr. Martin settled the claim for $14,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Martin’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
