Per the customer, he lost over $180,000 because of Mr. Naughton’s actions. On January 14, 2022, Mr. Naughton settled the claim for $6,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Naughton’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
In May 2008, a complaint was filed against or in reference to Patrick Naughton by a customer of Uvest Financial Services Group, Inc. alleging that Mr. Naughton made unsuitable mutual fund recommendations. Per the customer, he/she lost over $14,000 because of Mr. Naughton’s actions. On April 16, 2009, Mr. Naughton settled the claim for $8,507.20, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Naughton’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
