In May 2023, California Department of Insurance Investigation Division initiated a regulatory action against or in reference to Sterling Hirsch for allegedly ignoring suitability, inducing a client to make a loan, and bounced loan repayments.

In March 2023, a FINRA arbitration was filed against or in reference to Sterling Hirsch by a customer of Infinity Financial Services alleging improper sales practices. On November 14, 2023, Mr. Jaynes settled the claim for $30,000, and some or all of this amount may have been paid by Mr. Jaynes’s employer and/or insurance carrier.
